ONWARD
For my Typography class, I designed a magazine with a strong focus on typographic hierarchy, layout, and visual storytelling. I chose to create a travel magazine centered on Lisbon, Portugal, a city I visited with my family the previous summer. The publication highlights Lisbon’s historic architecture, winding streets, and vibrant culture while balancing large typographic moments with more intimate editorial layouts.
All of the photography featured in this project was taken by my family and me during the trip, which gave me full control over how the imagery interacted with the typography and page structure.Through this project, I explored how typography can function not just as text, but as a navigational and expressive element that shapes the overall reading experience.
